எஸ்.பி.மயில்வாகனன் அவர்களின் குரல் பதிவு...

அமரர் எஸ்.பி மயில்வாகனனின் குரலைக் கேட்க இங்கே அழுத்துங்கள்.

இலங்கை வானொலியின் தமிழ் வர்த்தக சேவை ஒலி பரப்பில் தமது கம்பீரமான குரலால் உலகெங்குமுள்ள கோடிக் கணக்கான தமிழர்களையெல்லாம் ஈர்த்தவர் அறிவிப்பாளர் அமரர் எஸ்.பி.மயில்வாகனன் அவர்கள்.

1954 இல் இலங்கை வானொலியில் பணியாற்றத் துவங்கிய இவர் 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக இலங்கை வானொலியில் ஆற்றிய பணிகளும்...நிகழ்த்திய சாதனைகளும் இன்றுவரை எவராலும் நெருங்க முடியாதவை.

இலங்கையில் மட்டுமன்றி தென்னிந்தியாவில் பட்டி தொட்டியெங்கும் இவர் புகழ்... பிரபல சினிமாக் கதாநாயகர்களுக்கு இணையாகப் பரவியது.

இவரை ஒரு முறையாவது நேரில் பார்க்க வேண்டும் என்று அந்தக் காலத்திலே லட்சக்கணக்கான நேயர்கள் துடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

பிரபல இசையமைப்பாளர்கள்,பாடகர்கள், பாடகிகள் மட்டுமன்றி அந்தக் காலத்தின் முன்னணிக் கதா நாயகர்கள் பலரும் எஸ்.பி.மயில்வாகனனின் தீவிர ரசிகர்களாக இருந்தார்கள் என்பதை பழைய பத்திரிகைச் செய்திகளின் மூலம் அறிந்து வியக்க முடிகிறது.

1950 களிலும்...1960 களிலும் இவரது அறிவிப்பினால் அடையாளம் காட்டப்பட்டு புகழ் பெற்ற பாடல்கள் அதிகம்.பாடகர்கள்,இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் அதிகம்.

மயில்வாகனனின் புகைப் படத்தை ஒவ்வொரு இசையமைப்பாளனும்..பாடகனும்...தமது இல்லத்தில் வைத்து மரியாதை செய்ய வேண்டும் என ...அந்தக் காலத்தின் பிரபல இசையமைப்பாளர் ஒருவர் மனம் திறந்து கூறியுள்ளது இங்கே குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Dear Mr. Yaazh Suthakar,

When I was talking to one of friends yesterday over phone, we had an opportunity to talk about Mr. Mylvahanan.

At once, I visited Mr. Mylvahanan's website posted by you. I have downloaded his image and his voice into my iPod and have been hearing his voice 5/6 times daily.

I had admired the voice of Mr. Mylvahanan and Mrs. Rajeswari Shanmugam of Radio Ceylon during 50s and 60s. Especially, the way of conducting the programme by Mr. Mylvahanan was wonderful. His voice is a God's gift. I had been longing to hear his voice in the Radio Ceylon during my earlier years.

His ads about T.P. Chokkalal Ramsait Beedi and Santhosa Nadar are still echoing in my ears. Both Mr. Mylvahanan and Mrs. Rajeswari Shanmugam’s programmes like Jodi Maatram, Neyar Viruppam, En Viruppam, Andrum Indrum, etc. were wonderful.

I shall be much obliged if you will please capture his earlier years' voice and put it on to the website.

His programmes were amazing. Nobody can ever conduct programmes like that.

I thank you very much for this wonderful presentation by you especially his photo and voice. I have to frame his photo in a big size and will keep it in my hall.
